Trees are our companions: Saving the environment is the need of the hour. Saint Tukaram has given the message of the environment through the abhangas such as Vrikshavalli Amha Soyre, Vanchare. Keeping this goal in mind, Lokseva Parivar has developed its own native trees nursery. So far, through this nursery, a constructive program has been undertaken to beautify the area by distributing 5000 saplings to students, farmers and volunteers every year. Free saplings are given to various institutions during monsoon. Lokseva Parivar has tried to develop greenary in Marathi schools, secondary school premises, hills and public areas in various villages by planting and nurturing these plants.
